Job description:

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for reviewing and approving technical documentation for high-, medium- and low-voltage systems, in strict compliance with design standards, safety regulations and project requirements. The role involves regular site visits to assess the quality of completed works, verify on-site conditions and align documentation, as well as close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and ensure the correct implementation of electrical systems. It also includes reviewing and approving submittals, shop drawings and as-built drawings, maintaining accurate records, and monitoring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and approving technical and design documentation for electrical systems across different voltage levels
  • Site visits to inspect the quality of completed works and collect data needed for reporting and document verification
  • Collaborating with design and construction teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure efficient system delivery
  • Checking electrical submittals, shop drawings and as-built drawings for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintaining and archiving documentation in line with company procedures and project requirements
  • Monitoring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (IEC, IEEE, NEC) and applying engineering best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • At least 5 years of work experience on various types of facilities
  • Good knowledge of international standards and codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC)
  • Willingness to work on site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Responsibility, precision and technical problem-solving skills
