We are looking for a Site Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the architectural aspects of construction projects on site, ensuring that projects are executed accurately and efficiently. The role also includes providing shop drawings, as-built drawings, or any related technical drawings the site may require.
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing the architectural phase of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design, quality and safety standards
- Interpreting and implementing architectural drawings and specifications on site, adapting them as needed to resolve practical site-specific issues
- Conducting site inspections, managing design changes and maintaining documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
- 2–5+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project management
- Experience in site planning and development is especially valuable
- Certification and licensing are a plus
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous projects, particularly those demonstrating an understanding of site architecture
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and other design tools
- Ability to produce working drawings or any technical drawings the site may require
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials and practical on-site details
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills for collaborating with engineers and construction teams
- Ability to support project teams and provide clear direction and solutions
